Hey Ma, we went for a wander in Dingle Dell a couple of weekends back. It was nothing like I remembered it from when you used to take us there when we were kids. The tracks are all properly formed now and everything is groomed to within an inch of it's life. There's little bridges and signs naming the trees. I only remembered it as a bit of bush with goat tracks through it and a scraggly lawn in the middle.

Here's a photo of the kids at Dingle Dell for their grandmother. It's been potatoshopped to death because I found a bunch of cool actions that mean I can be a crap photgrapher and still produce photo's only my mother will like.

  • Dave, just trying to figure out whether the bored expression on Sarah's face is because of her surroundings (Dingle Dell), or because she's been ordered once more by her photo-fanatic father to "look at the camera". Dingle Dell sounds nice, so for now I'll consider the latter!

  • It's in St Heliers at the end of The Parade which is off Tamaki Drive. It's a pleasant place for a walk in the bush if thats what you are wanting.

  • From memory, Sarah had that look on her face because her mother was trying to make her put a jacket on because it was cold. And Sarah is starting to want to make the decisions. Hence the incredulity.
