If I didn't think I'd get arrested by the very scary looking cops here, I'd so love to get naked and roll on some of the lawns around here.

Bloody hell they are so soft and plush and sensuous looking. It is different grass to what we have at home. And they are also let to grow much much longer than is normal at home too. To the point that some of the lawns feel more like carpet than grass.

Soft, cool, tempting, caress your naked body, shag pile carpet, succulent grass.

  • I bet there was a smirk on your face when you wrote this and a slight hint of desperation in your chuckle when you clicked on post. But as far as lawn goes, thats a fine patch of green.

  • That'll learn me for no spudooliing for a few days! I blink, and whammo! You've up and left! I'm reading Bill Bryson's Short History of Nearly Everything at the moment. You'd like it Dave. America smells different because of Thomas Midgley jnr. He put lead in Petrol (and invented Chlouroflourocarbons too, bless him!). Clair Patterson (the guy who first figured out the Earth is 4550 million years old + or - 70 Million years) finally got The Clean Air Act 1970 passed which lead to lead being removed from petrol in the US in 1986, and despite the amount of lead in the average American's body almost immediately dropping by 80%, there is STILL around 625 times the amount of lead in the average American's body today than there was in the early 1900's... The air is full of it.

  • I've read that book BC. Ironically I read it on the plane while flying to the USA sometime in 2004. Mmmmmm, Lead. So tasty.

  • My favourite bit so far is Avogadro's number - the number of molecules in 2.016 grams oh hydrogen gas (why 2.016 I want to know). 6.0221367 x 10 to the 23... OR, to put it in terms we can all relate to, enough popcorn kernels to cover the entire surface of the USA to a depth of 9 miles deep!!!

  • Grass is such a guy thing. Here in Canada you always see guys rolling around naked on it. They never show that on the evening news because well....it's just not a pretty picture.
