Cheese sauce is a metaphor for marriage

When Gabba and I first started living together, whenever there was cauliflower or broccoli or both on the menu, there was always cheese sauce loving poured on top. Every single time, without exception.

Then when we got engaged, only most of the time was there cheese sauce. Every now and then I'd have to have Cauli or Broc au naturale.

But when we got married, there was a brief period when all I got was grated cheese sprinkled on my Cauli, and even that stopped before our second anniversary.

Oddly enough around the 6th or 7th year of being wed, the home made cheese sauce made a come back, but then it stopped altogether, and now it's only brought out on special occasions; birthdays and anniversaries and the like.

Now tell me if this isn't a perfect metaphor for your sex life. Huh? (perhaps without the cheesey bit though eh?)

The tricky bit is how to fit into my story "packet cheese sauce" which made an appearance tonight for perhaps the first time. Hmmmm.
