I came home tonight to another member of the family. Sarah spent all her pocket money buying a budgie and a cage and all the paraphanalia that gets stuffed into a bird cage. So far it (no one can think of a name for it) has just sat on it's perch breathing heavy. It's only a baby, but already I can't see the point in it. Now if it was battered, that would be a different story.
Which reminds me of one of the the last time the Hartwig's where in NZ, we went for a visit to the Kiwi House in Otorohanga. Don't go there, it's not worth the money! Anyway, we all wandered into the kiwi house, being very quiet so as not to disturb the kiwi, walking carefully so as not to bump into any other suckers that happened to be there. We all stood quietly waiting to see the kiwi shuffling about when Brad said in a loud voice, "Yeah, but what do they taste like"! 'kin funny.
Sarah though is so proud of the bloody thing. She reckons she'll feed it every day and change it's water. "And Dad, I've got the best job. I have to clean out it's poo"!
The guy above did a pretty good job standing still for the 35 minutes until Prince William turned up on Sunday. Even when it rained quite hard for 5 minutes.
Gabba just told me Veronica Mars starts on TV3 on Friday. My God she is soooooo freakin' HOOOTTTTTTTTTT.
