Standing a match stick on it's head!

I had another crack at "studio photography" tonight because there was nothing on TV. Tried with various lighting setups and with flash and without flash and without lights. And they all look mostly crap. I think next time I'll try with the 500 Watt workshop light I have. Eventually I'll figure out something that works for me. Perhaps I should buy myself a tripod too. Although I'm betting that will just add complexity. Nevertheless, in the immortal words of Tiger Woods - "Practice".

I had to drive the car in the rain again today. I wish the bloody customers would have some respect and cancel meetings when they know it's raining. Don't they fricken know that 18 year old cars and rain are a bad mix?
