See, Gabba, I haven't broken or lost either of the kids yet. They both look happy and healthy.

It occurred to me today, as I was finishing my second glass of wine while watching Oprah, that I have all the drawbacks of being a single dad and none of the benefits.

I have to do all the housework and dishes and cooking on my own, and live with my own company, yet I'm not allowed to chase any of the hot single moms out there to play games with in the afternoon until it's time to pick up the kids.

I know I've overdone the speedlight. But when trying out something new, you've always gotta go a little too far. You know, tighten it till it snaps and then back it off half a turn.

How do we, or Gabba, know that this photo and yesterday's for that matter we taken this week? You could have stored them up from previous snaps, and sold the kids to a Bangladeshi ship-breaker, and be driving around all day in pursuit of HSMs afterall. Hmmm, Tui.
