When I first got connected to the internet, a bloody long time ago, one of the first things I got hooked on was Usenet. Back then it really was a resource to rival anything else in existence, including the World Wide Web. After hanging out in a few newsgroups for a while I realized I was starting to know those people almost far too intimately. Over a period of time I got to know exactly what they were up to in their lives. I thought it was creepy then but I guess I'm used to it now. Bloody hell, look, I'm sharing our lives with you to some degree through this web site.

I was alerted to this website today. It's the web site of a guy that is trying to take a photo every day for the next 10 years of his life. I can understand where he is coming from. I only have to read back through our trip to the USA and can easily remember just about every day of the 5 and a half months we were there because it's written down.

Not that I feel the need to turn this in a (God forbid) Journal or a Dear Diary though. Hopefully I'll look back in 10 years from now and remember this stuff. Hopefully apache and linux and PHP will still be around then and this web site will still be working ;-)

So to remember this moment, above is what Sarah looked like at exactly 5:57pm on the 5th of June 2005 standing in the living room in front of the right speaker at Geoffrey Road looking perturbed because I have the camera pointed at her.
