I went back to the Hospital today to have my eye checked. Eeverything is looking really good. I think Trevor Gray is quite pleased with himself (he did the operation on me). He's now got me on the waiting list to have the stitches removed, sometime in the next 4 - 6 months.
Tonight after school and dancing, we took the Giblets down to Waiake beach for a swim. The water isn't looking very clean, and there is lots of seaweed hanging around which is unusual, but the water was warm. It's hard to believe that the kid in the photo was dressed in snow pants and boots, big jacket, scarf and hat and mittens only 9 days ago.
I wandered out knee deep to take this photo. It wasn't pleasant having the camera out in the sea, so I only took half a dozen photo's before scampering back to put it away. Of course I took the wrong lens. How come the lens you want is always not on the camera?
