OK, so the above photo isn't that great. No skill displayed at all in fact. But that wasn't the aim. I wanted to test some stop motion animation and this is all I came up with after 7 seconds of thought.
Ok, so the animation isn't that great either. But then I didn't want to spend 2 hours out in the field to come home and find that I'd cocked something up. So a test in the dining room was in order. The kids don't cost anything and I can still get them to do anything I want.
The Photo and the Animation
In summary, it's Sarah drawing a picture, Ali taking some interest, me spinning a banana and Alice inserting mandarins. It's 104 photos taken exactly 5 seconds apart. Then converted to a 49MB AVI at 5 frames a second. Finally uploaded to Google Video as they seem happy to pay for the bandwidth.
